I was sitting in the living room of my aunt's house (CT, USA) before looking at my phone thinking "Wow, my secondary clock says it's 10 am in Sydney. Goddamnit, if only I lived in Oz I would have opened and would be enjoying all my wonderful presents already."

Apple is the devil! At least, you could infer that from my purchases and gifts.
I just finished opening my presents, and I got some books, plenty of soda (a lovely case of IBC), and a GPS unit (which would've been real handy last weekend when I couldn't for the life of me find a certain road in a metropolitan area).
My Christmas present to myself (my new $4600 computer) looks to be turning into a New Year's gift, as either the motherboard or the RAM (or both) were faulty as I received them and the entire machine doesn't work without those. Here's hoping they RMA back swiftly so that I can stick my new 24" monitor to mapmaking!
Get a signed letter from I think it's a tech teacher and principal confirming that you are a student there, and Adobe's $1,300.00 you have to spend for Cs4 will be reduced to $200.00. Just got it for X-mas and my mom saved $1,100!
