this user is posting a personal photo of myself as his avatar within the forums (http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewto ... =8&t=73867). despite having it removed by Twill for an earlier infraction. it is a no no listed in the forum guidelines. he was already banned for 3 days for using my image as a flame, when he wrote "cock sucker" on my image, and is continuing to use my image. he needs a longer time out. this is absolutely a rules violation:

Don't ever post personal information of other users. Anywhere. Ever. Even if they already posted it somewhere else. This includes posting personal information about a CC user on another site, you will be held accountable here.


hopefully, he can receive the same ban as Dancing Mustard did, as this is the warning listed in the thread at the top of the Tower of Babble, where he is posting. and he was already given a time out for using my avatar:

anything less than what DM received for posting private info will be an absolute joke and a slap in the face of the forums and your own guidelines listed at the top of the Tower of Babble. he was banned and warned for his "cock sucker" owen avatar. and now his "free me" owen avatar is use of personal info within the forums which is absolutely forbidden according to your own forum rules.

I totally agree with owen, since a precidence was made when banning DM (and others no doubt) for violating the rules, then DaGip should expect to recieve the same sanction imposed on Dancing Mustard and if not, why not?

garbage, he had "cock sucker" on my IMAGE which he does not have my permission to use, and it was removed by twill. when his 3 day ban was up, he returned, and reposted MY IMAGE with "free owen" on it, against the guidelines and rules of the community. they clearly state:

he has RE-POSTED personal info of another user, which he is not allowed to do, even if i have posted it somewhere else (my old avatar/my clan sig), and he needs a DM ban, period. i don't think there is anything muddy about this...-0

the image is of me, period. he was banned and had the avatar removed by twill, he did not remove it of his own will. he then came off of his ban for posting my image, and reposted the image which twill had removed. how does he receive a warning for something he was already previously banned for? are the rules not clear enough? "anywho", methinks someone needs to let king achilles look at this...-0

posting personal information. maybe you can send him a pm to get the rule clarified...

Believe it or not, the Team does not wish to ban everybody.

Just wanted to clear this up. DaGip received a three day forum vacation for flaming owen in a post in the Off Topics forum. After he was on his vacation, a mod saw the first avatar of owen (after the mod saw the avatar and a PM was sent, another user made a thread about the avatar) and the avatar was removed. The second avatar was noted by owen and a thread was created. This time he was warned for the avatar. He is currently not on any sort of forum vacation, owen is asking that a one month ban be implemented. None of the regular mods can give this long of a ban, so asking NS to do so is like asking time to go backward, it cannot happen.

no, twill removed it for him during his 3 day ban. when he returned, he placed my personal photo back up as his avatar, against CC rules, and this time was warned. sooo, second offense, you get a lesser punishment? that makes absolutely ZERO sense. still waiting to hear a real answer as to how/why this is possible. i have never received a less severe punishment for repeating an infraction within the forums. DaGip should receive the same ban DM is currently under, as he returned from a ban and willfully placed my personal photo back up as his avatar. period. i don't even see why there is a discussion, and i consider this far from resolved. the black jesus has spoken.-0

the point is he is a repeat offender, that has already "served" a 3 day ban for the same offense. so going back to a formal warning doesnt seem to make too much sense...
and the guy in the picture IS owen and black.

You seem to thrive on conflict so here's a question for you; why, when you are obviously NOT Jesus, are you using a picture of him in your avatar? I'm not religious at all, but you never know, apart from publicly displaying personal information (according to some) you may also be causing distress to some posters here by ridiculing their God. Do you have permission from God to use that particular picture? Don't you think referring to yourself as the 'black Jesus' could, by some be considered blasphemous?

the solution was simple the first time when twill removed it for him during his three day ban. Night Strikes solution should not have even been necessary had he not re-committed the offense he was just banned for. i just find it quite odd that someone is banned for an offense, then comes right back and recommits the same offense, and a warning is issued instead of a longer ban being handed out. i am satisfied that king achilles is looking into it further, thanks to PM's we have swapped. and whatever the ruling is this go around, i'll be satisifed that it was at least truly looked at after i was able to voice my concerns... however, the precident was set with DM, and i feel it should hold true in this case, too... maybe not as long, but at least a week... the black jesus has spoken...-0

The only problem I have is understanding your continuing need to ensure a longer ban.
(As has already been explained by Night Strike, DM's ban was an accumulation of other misdemeanors.)
Besides, Da Gip's 'offence' the second time around was not the same - there's a big difference between 'cock sucker' and 'free Owen', I think you'll agree.
Anyway, Da Gip apologized after the first misdeed, tried to make amends, which went down badly and has now removed the avatar.
Why do you have to over-dramatize everything?

This whole thing is completely ridiculous, and is meant to be. The personal information rule is there to protect the people behind the screens from people who would abuse them. Owen wants to push his own agenda using it (really mate, you should have just claimed he was trolling you, it would have made a lot more sense) and Hecter and Timmy, you just want to be trolls with it.

If you want to push a rule outside of it's intended purpose by misconstruing the words, then sure, we'll play ball, but expect us to enforce it to the sames word with you as well. And then if you're going to play the "look at me mommy! I'm a rebel on teh in0rnetz!" game, well, you're idiots.
