I know the theory and all that, but theories are just theories and I'm more of a debater on shit which is true. I'm not interested in small issues since I have already discussed the everliving f*ck out of all issues which every moron who discovers Teh Interwebs wants to talk about. So let's talk about bigger stuff like global political views.
I'm gonna start threads every week (or whenever I feel like it) to discuss things to bring some quality back into this forum. Ofcourse, me being me these threads will also be full of flames and posts which tell other people that they are stupid. But at least it's better than the shit we're talking about now. (GABONX HAS ANOTHER OBSCURE STORY WHICH HE THINKS PROVES HIM RIGHT BUT ACTUALLY DOESN'T!)

I'm game, but I am not a libertarian, at least not in the Ron Paul sense (I start my social security this December). So I will wait for someone with first hand commitment to speak. But it might be worth the effort to check a thesaurus for alternatives to "stupid."

Libertarianism rules. Live and let live... and don't tread on me. We believe that if two adults want to do something together, they should be able to do it. That includes everything from ass sex, to an open duel. Libertarians believe that America should stop trying to be an empire, because its not right and empires all fall anyway. We Believe that you can put what ever you want to in your body and that you don't have to be politically correct to be fair. We believe that you are free to believe what ever you want to with regards to religion, and we think that everyone should be responsible for their own security (a.k.a. arm yourself. A cop can only arrest someone after a crime has been committed, they cant prevent shit.)

just to comment on the last post.. The U.S. is not an empire.. We take the lead in global issues because no one else will. And most importantly no one else has the resources to do it.

Only Iraq, maybe Afghanistan could be vaguely considered that... Both Peru and Venezuela are Republics, just like the USA. They hold democratic elections and all that kinda stuff. They are sovereign nations that really didn't do anything to anybody. DanFrank, you're so stupid it hurts.

Is it the blue or red kool aid that you fancy? America is way too aggressive in "protecting" its interests abroad. The only war that we should fight is the war that is in defense of our land, not offensive wars like we have in Iraq.
Actually, Libertarians used to be called Liberals. That was untill the fucking communists came along and ass raped the term. Now "Liberal" actually means, "give-me-a-big-ass-controlling-government-so-I-don't-have-to-have-freedom-or-responsibility"
