Invitation to Join a Game

Variant on the request to join a game and the friends list. To have the ability to set up an invitation only game - from the game you would then be able to pm buddies you would like to join. Only those people could join the game.

Means no password required and it would make it easier to setup friends games. Tied in with a friends list on the pm and it could be quite nice.

Also, when setting up doubles or triples games, it would be nice if I could invite friends to play on my team, locking those spots for a certain amount of time, or until someone I invited declines the invite. But, keeping the other spots open in the public games.

Taking this even further - it would be nice when joining a doubles or triples game, if I was first to join on a team - to be able to lock a spot on the team I joined and invite friend(s) to join up with me.

OK sorry, I'm not new to forums, I just missed that. I also hate it when those damn n00bs post things that have been addressed somwhere else. I searched for 'invitations' and got to this thread.
I believe I still make a new valid point in my post.

I would like to see an option to be the 'Team Captain', if you will, when taking the 1st slot in a team game, having the option to invite a friend to join me in the team.

It's not on the to-do list I don't think, but that style will be available for future tourney games. You just imput the name of the participants and it sends an automatic PM with an invitation and a link to join the game.
