A recomendation to make the gamming more respectfull. Only in a few days in playing here I have seen and read very inapropiate laguaje. There should be a code of conduct and insulting a player should be observed at least.

Penalties should apply, temporary suspension or banning for over spamming.

I have played other online games, and I think this is one addition that could improve here.

If you believe that the behaviour you experienced in one or more of your games breached those guidelines you can make a complaint in our Cheating & Abuse Reports forum.

In this instance I have moved this thread into that forum so - if you wish to pursue a complaint - you should edit your first post above to include the relevant game number(s) and the player(s) you wish to complain about.

If you do not provide the relevant details within 48 hours the Cheating & Abuse team will presume that you do not wish to pursue the matter further and will lock this thread.

If this seems complicated and you wish to PM me please do - or preferably PM [player]lancehoch[/player] who is the moderator currently responsible for the Cheating & Abuse forum.

Actually, I made a complaint on a threat in the foundry in the England thread. The moderator removed my comment and banned me for a day.

If this in fact happened, I would certainly advise you to fill out an e-ticket so that someone higher up in the chain can take a look into it.

I see some inappropriate language in your post. I'm no fan of spelling, but come on.

How about we make a new rule (I know, this will be locked soon) that new guys with less than 100 games aren't allowed to post. Man, its almost like the mods paid the guy to come in here and say this stuff.

"Freedom of speech" applies only to the government or an entity accepting government money. I don't believe either applies to Conquer Club.

Even if it did, any of those freedoms listed in the U.S. Constitution come with restrictions applied to them. There really IS no such thing as TOTAL "freedom of speech", nor should there be.

Maybe not read chat then? Or foe the user? No one is FORCING YOU to read chat, or read what a user says. If they become very abusive, then talk to a mod.

You are absolutely correct, korda1.

This site is frequented by a vast array of people. A wide range of ages. Many levels of tolerance for vulgar language. There is no way people should be exposed to foul language just because they decided to play a game against the wrong person.

Someone suggested that you "Foe" the other player. There are just too many disrespectful players here on CC to avoid them all. You could "Foe" a thousand players, but you will still continue to run into players with rude language and bad attitudes.

Someone suggested that what you consider an insult might just have been another player's idea of satire. Well, that doesn't really solve your problem, does it? Nor does it solve the problem of younger players being exposed to vulgar language and inappropriate discussions.

The only solution is to require a certain level of good sportsmanship from CC players. And if you don't adhere to the standard, you get suspended.
