Ratings, what date?

Hi.. I might admit i am not sure how it works with the rating. If you update a rating what date will the rating show?

When you first gave the rating or when you updated the rating?

I ment if you "update" a rating. But i think i got an answer myself. I think it is the old date for the rating, not the one 6 months later. Thanks though =)
