I certainly would like to apply for one, the more complex the better.

I am a software developer with more then 15 year of experience. So i know XML inside out.

In fact, I actually wanted to make a general post in the foundry about my availability as XML partner to a mapmaker.

I have run some of the very complex leagues in the tournament area of CC. And actually have created a custom software to manage them.

If you have any questions, please ask. But I strongly believe that I will make my participant with the map development a success for all parties involved.

Thanks for considering me!

EDIT: I would like to be considered for any of the 3 aforementioned map. If i would have to choose, then I select Stalingrad first (as the most difficult one), second is Jamaica and then Rail Africa.

Yes, and one more thing I'd like to add: I spend on CC more then 12 hours per day (not constantly, but on and off). So any changes or anything - I am more the willing to do and further more, I can do them very quickly!

Eh, why not?
I'll throw my name in there. I am not experienced with xml but I have looked at it a bit and it does not seem that hard. I would like to do rail africa, since that seems easiest.
I am a fast learner and am often online.

I haven't yet got a map through the foundry but I have several in various stages. I did the XML for my Monsters! map. I have been programing computers for almost 30 years and have been working extensively with XML for probably 8 or 9 years in my regular programming job. I would be honored to do the xml for any of those three maps =)

Thanks for considering me.

I'd like to apply to make Jamaica XML. I really love the gameplay and if I could help, that would be awesome
Thanks for this cairnswk! It would be great work with such an experient mapmapker like you.

I've some experience with XML. I'm currently making it to my new map: Europe 1099 - The First Crusade, and I've already modded a lot of XML Civilization IV pieces. I'm a very assiduous member at Conquer Club, never missed a turn and I'm online almost all the time so communication will not be difficult ;)

Cheers!

I would like to apply for the XML position of your Jamaica map. I have no experience with XML, but I do have experience with many programming languages, and the structure of the language is quite familiar. I have been following and commenting on quite a few maps, but have not got any maps I am actively working on, so I would be available to apply myself primarily to this task. I would be interested in being an early adopter of Premier2K's XML Gen Tool, if it is ready for prime time, but I am prepared to do this the old fashioned way, too. Like Beko, I am online frequently and easy to connect with.

Congratulations, dolomite13! Okay, I've had a look at the other maps up for grabs and they both look interesting, so put me down for either one.

I know XML, and this is something that I've wanted to do since the day I joined the site, but looking at some of these resumes (I'm by no means a professional), I don't think I have a chance in hell.

But you can't win if you don't play... so put me down

Congratulations, saraith. I suggest going directly to the Stalingrad thread (click on the picture in cairnswk's signature) where you will find me harassing him about the spelling of territories, which will no doubt be a fun factor in your work.
