For some reason, i have a desire to create a new map....It probably wont happen, but i was wondering what you thought of this idea. I thought that a map of the northern front of the war of 1812 would be fun. I know a bunch of you other CC guys live just across the St. Lawrence river from me, and i thought maybe you'd be intrested in it. Of course, i want to create a dynamic war map that would interest players from different areas too. I was also thinking of a new twist to the map. Certain places or "countries" as it were, would be special in the game. For example, during the war, a major battle was fought at Fort Niagara. The person who holds Fort Niagara would be given one army on the fort at the begining of each turn. There would be many such areas located around the map that relate to actual forts of the war....
Any and all feed back would be great, i want to make this work. I've never made a map before, so any help you guys could offer would be fantastic.
Another place would be ancient Mesopotamia, you know, Gilgamesh times. They certainly did lots of fighting there...
