If memory serves me well, that is what happened to Jeffery Domer. He was put into gen. pop and ended up getting shanked.
It's a shame what our justice system has become. If I remember correctly a rapist got off in Vermont a couple years ago with 1 year in prison and that was before it was appealed.

Thank you for your reasoned and rational counter-argument. I am so glad that you did not dismiss me with an ad hominen attack!

Oh dear me. It appears that I must have missed all of the rational original-arguments that you had anticipated would be met with rational counter-arguments.
It appears that I must have mistaken them for mere bald-assertions of inane and anachronistic personal opinions, then summarily dismissed them with precisely the level of scorn that such ridiculous notions warrant.
Tell you what, why don't you just go copy and paste all of those well thought out, rational, original-arguments that you think that you made and that I missed the first time round, then I'll respond to them civilly and with all of the academic respect that they surely deserve. That shouldn't be too hard for you to do now, should it?
I mean, you're not the kind of guy who just spews out retarded and unsupported opinions then cries when more intelligent posters dismiss them as spurious and infantile, are you?
Rustovitch wrote:I am very much impressed by the adult way in which you deal with people who have the temerity to hold different opinions to you. A lesser man would have got on his high horse, puffed out his manly chest and would have ranted with aristocratic disdain and a peppering of personal insults. I think you are wonderful.
MrWainthrope wrote:So I notice that you didn't quote all of those original-arguments that you were crying I didn't respond to? Dare we conclude that they were never made and that you are in fact crying unjustifibly?
Indeed, all you appear to have done in your reply is relapsed into a sobbing fit and started throwing around precisely the kind of ridiculous personal insults that you were claiming to be so injured by.
