For those who chose not to see the video I will explain A 6 month old baby is beaten to death and raped by her father uncle and mother. They got 18 years to life (keep in mind that life in most states is 20-25 years) in prison I have to ask my self WTF!! why aren't they put to death how can you look at this child and her bruises and her beautiful face and not want the people responsible for such acts dead!!!! I mean at least make sure that they will NEVER get out of prison
Now skip ahead to this morning i ma catching up on some local news and this guy swindled 300,000 bucks from siblings bought a boat, a few cars. and a motorcycle. Guess how many years he is going to prison for
45!!! What the fucking hell is the matter with society??????

I have an 8 month old son. Knowing someone out there can do that to a small child makes me sick. In my opinion if there is ever a reason for the death penalty, this type of thing would be it. Horrific in every way.

the legal system definitely is messed up. sometimes it seems that there is no rhyme or reason to the punishment handed down by those in power.

true story, i know a guy 35years old guy, who raped a 15 year old girl. He originally pleaded innocent, was threatened with 20 years in jail, his lawyer works the system for him, hes offered 9 years if he will change his plea to guilty, continuance after continuance, hes was out on bail by the way, he finally agrees to the 9 years assuming with good behavior he will be out in 4 n 1/2 years, so he goes to jail this past february, and now finds out that because the jails are over crowded and under funded he will be released next february, after serving only 1 year, the down side he will be under house arrest for another year and must wear an ankle bracelet.

The 15 year old girls life is forever changed and this guy is inconvenienced for a year.

Illinois by the way, but i hear that this is more common than you would expect.

I thought that stupidly inapropriate prison sentences were a British thing and that the Americans had more sense (never thought I'd say that).

When someone has been caught bang to rights having murdered an innocent then I just see them as nothing more than a source of organs or a test subject for a new drug, or surgical technique.

We have had the same situations here, where a step dad and mom beat and tortured and abused this child who was less that 8 years old, and finally ended up killing her. 15 years I believe they got for it but are appealing because they feel the sentence is too severe.

Hopefully these scumbags will be put in gen. pop., and someone will spread the story, and their identity. Most cons have a VERY low tolerance for child molesters/murderers.

Actually in Britain it seems most people want the death penalty, it was only done away with on the understanding that formerly 'capital' offenses would result in permanent incarceration... which is NOT the case.

If memory serves me well, that is what happened to Jeffery Domer. He was put into gen. pop and ended up getting shanked.

It's a shame what our justice system has become. If I remember correctly a rapist got off in Vermont a couple years ago with 1 year in prison and that was before it was appealed.

jeffrey dahmer if i remember was put in gen pop, and shortly thereafter, like a day or so was not exactly shanked but rather was brutally raped with a mop handle, i also believe a guard lost his job over this for being somehow involved
