Do you always get a medal after Tournament win?

I was wondering, is it correct that no matter which tournament you win you get a tournament-medal?

I'm asking this cause i won a tournament and i want to show off my win with a medal.
But no medal yet.

I won Black Ops Squad II.

Was the last hall of fame update. Therefore, it hasn't yet been written into the HoF that you've won, and therefore, you haven't gotten the medal yet.

Once it's updated, you'll get your medal.

Generally speaking you are correct, although there are exceptions.

You will get a medal for winning Black Ops Squad II. Please be patient, it may take several weeks before you receive it.

Yet on that same point, Gilly is supposed to update the HoF every 2 weeks. Hes gotten a bit lazy, eh?
