Curb insulting of other players

I'm only still occasionally peeking in and commenting on threads about the very issue I left for, because for three months I've been bugging admin to take my pre-paid year off my account and turn it into premium prizes for the tournament I sponsored, and so far they still haven't done it.

The sooner they do, the sooner I'll be totally gone, so whoever's got pull with admin on this site, pass it on please.

That does seem like bad business though, if they won't. Why not enhance someone's experience rather than have the premium wasted, when it doesn't have to be?

Nope, it's gold from last year's membership. Note that I spoke of a PREPAID membership. The year I asked for a refund for (purchased in October/November, I began asking for refund in February) does not start until a week or two from now, as I clearly indicated when first making the request.

To make it totally clear: I joined last Mayish, within a week or two up'd to premium. Purchased a new year that wouldn't start until the end of my first year in late fall. Requested in February that the UNSTARTED year be converted to my promise of year-premium giftcert for tournament winners of my @World tournament, continued asking periodically every few weeks; added that if they won't just convert, give me a refund and I'll fulfill my promise by using those funds to purchase the giftcert. It's now May, and I've still gotten no answer.

Nor have they fixed the problems I left for (if they had, the dude who began this thread would not have begun the thread, and my most recent - last week - experience in social would not have happened either).

All clear now? Yeesh.

The point isn't whether people "can handle" or "cannot handle" the point is, people shouldn't have to handle nastiness just to play a game if we don't find nastiness to be part of the fun.

Legitimate businesses give refunds for services that have not started. I began making my request a full three months before the service started, plenty of time.

Cute ploy, but not a very clever one. I've never seen a keyboard where the "Y" key was anywhere near the Z key or the A key, and the use of all-caps for it also looks like emphasis was intended. Thus, the logical conclusion is, you intended to send a sexual orientation slur toward me.

In a recent C&A thread, someone in a temper over the CC dice used the words ghay and foggot and got warned for it. Reading the chat, it's obvious the words were not even slanted at the other player, but at the game itself. But I'm not a mod pet, so don't fear, 8649, you won't even get a wrist-slap over this intentional sex-orientation flaming "typo".
