Not really. in the early rounds, you most likely are recieving 3 troups. Missing out on those is EXACTLY like losing 3-0 on an attack that round (very common occurrance). And it is similar to extra armies lost to bad dice over the course of a game. Point is, it is quite easy to overcome, if the other factors are in your favor (ie drop, dice, 3 card sets).
Deferred troups should be able to be turned on and off. plenty of open games out there to keep anyone happy. those that opppose this, just dont join the games with this feature.
