no i don't think they should do that just cut there deferred troops in half so if he gets 50 troops and misses he should only get 25 troops and if he misses two times in a row he gets 25 for the 1st round and + 13 troops for the 2nd miss
actually I think this would be a good idea for an option. The game creator can pick rather
to allow deferments or not.deferment could be a default unless the 1st palyer chooses to
do non defermnent This would add a new dimension to gameplay.Im pretty much sure
someone already suggested this idea but I guess its possible that it hasnt
Hi, I'm not sure who to bring this up to, or where the correct place to do so is, but after playing enough games where opponents have missed turns (sometimes intentional and others not) and received deferred troops, I feel that this is an option that the game creator should be able to turn on or off. Like with spoils or fog. I have no idea how much work would go into adding this feature, but strongly believe it should be left to the person making the game and the people joining whether they would like to play with deferred troops.
I personally would like the option of being able to turn them off, as I think if you miss a turn you should lose the deployment as well. I'm sure other's feel differently as to why I think this should be an on/off option. I don't know if anyone has brought this up before, but I would like to hear other people's thoughts on the matter. Thanks to anyone who provides input.
Having people miss 2 turns - Then be able to drop 2 turns worth of troops at the end of their 3rd turn is BS!
Specifics:
Here's an example of a guy that missed his first 2 turns - Played a few rounds - Then missed 2 more turns on a very small map:
USA Great Lakes - Game 6053008
2009-12-10 22:57:55 - Game has been initialized
(Game still only in round 12 after 26 days!)

This guy went from 8 to 15 regions (tieing him with the game leader) in a single turn and was able to drop 12 troops as reinforcements at the end of his turn . . .
That's BS!
He's missed 4 turns so far this game (including rounds 1 and 2) - Making everyone else wait for him!
Why should he be rewarded at all?
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
No more "Deferred Troops" - If you miss your turn then that's your own fault!
There are some people that purposely miss 2 turns at a time just to get the "Deferred Troops"
If you miss 3 turns "Total" then you get kicked!
Missing 2 - Playing a few - Missing 2 more - Playing a couple more does nothing but delay the game for the rest of the players who actually login everyday and take their turns.
Allowing a player to recieve "Deferred Troops" after missing turns only encourages some players to use that as a "Game Tactic".
Those 2 suggestions would dramatically improve the game!
I say no. Most of the time there are some RL porblems. No one can help that. I recently broke my ankle playing hockey and missed quite a few turns cause I was at the hospital for awhile. Some people have deaths in the family and can't take turns. Some just have some other RL things that conflict with CC.
EDIT:
It is your own fault!
So you are saying it'd be someones fault they missed cause....
A family member died
They were doing something IRL
They were in the hospital
They were at a special event
Missing a turn(s) due to emergencies is different from what I posted . . .
Still there is no reason to ever be given troops when you happen to miss a turn for whatever the excuse - If you can't play your turn then suck it up and make due with what you have left when you're able to get back online . . .
Why should you be given a stockpile of troops to drop into the game as a reward for not logging in?
I like what Musashi's saying. I know that there are emergencies and such, but there usually aren't. The majority of the time it's just someone that doesn't bother to log on, which is annoying. Emergencies suck and such, but Conquer Club means nothing compared to them and I doubt getting those 3 extra troops means ANYTHING compared to a broken bone or death of a family member.
Not sure what you're complaining about, tactically the guy's round looks to have worked out for you, since you kept your two bonuses. More to the point, when someone has been intermittently missing turns, it's usually a good idea to break his bonus(es). And we are coming off a major holiday period, where people are often out of town. Lots of people miss a turn or two in late december and early january.
Besides, it's moot, deferred troops are the best option, and site management has continually refused to tighten deadbeating rules to the extent which you propose, which is fine since this is a casual game site.

i agree with what is being said if u dont agree with casual games what about sspeed games as some people abuse it in speed games to get the advantage where there is no excuse for it
I see where you are coming from on this issue and it is a shame that some people may take advantage of the deferred troops; however, as far as the game continuity goes, missing out on a set of troops for a whole round would put a player back significantly . In most cases it would be hard for anyone to recoup from that especially during the first couple of rounds in a game. Having the deferred troops option feature is an interesting idea that should be looked at for more consideration. Perhaps a better way with dealing with this is would be a player is only allowed to miss one round instead of the current three. Otherwise, it doesn't seem fair to the players who just couldn't make it for the round for whatever reason.
I passed several others along the way, but this was on the first page when I clicked to respond.
Also the only advantage from deferred troops is when there are negative deployments and card cashings, which I made a thread to discuss the getting autodeploys sorted here:

Not really. in the early rounds, you most likely are recieving 3 troups. Missing out on those is EXACTLY like losing 3-0 on an attack that round (very common occurrance). And it is similar to extra armies lost to bad dice over the course of a game. Point is, it is quite easy to overcome, if the other factors are in your favor (ie drop, dice, 3 card sets).
Deferred troups should be able to be turned on and off. plenty of open games out there to keep anyone happy. those that opppose this, just dont join the games with this feature.
sorry but hade enough of players missing shots to come back and play to get the advantage.
like it says when you sign up visit every 24 hours to ensure you take your shots. well mods if people are missing they should not get defered troups for it.because they are not doing what is stated on sign up.so please stop asking us to just foe and move on start backing up what this site says to players visit every 24 hours to play shots. it does not say miss 2 shots and opposition can foe and move on if you comeback and play.
had enough off bullshit excuses as well
1) got a phone call bull 90 percent of the world is on cordless.
2)did not have accsess to a internet conection bull get a babysitter before you go.
3)i had a emergency does not take 48 hours off your time so bull again.
4) im a noob who likes cheating horray you are telling the truth
another one is 2 friends join a 4 5 or 6 player game somone reports them teaming up without chat for tRuce or even trucing when not needed and not attacking each other all we get is foe and move on they get a warning sorry but you are rewarding them with points from players that are not cheating. KICK THEM OUT THE GAME AS WELL.

missed turn, missed troops. Cool. Friends playing together.... People can be banned/blocked from playing with each other its a pretty severe step which doesn't happen that often.

doesnt happen to you high ranks but low ranks use it all the time and is pissing me off also please tell the league of chiefs this is not a tactic to teach players. as they seem to be the worst at doing it

THERE IS NO ADVANTAGE. PERIOD. NONE. IN FACT, THERE IS A DISADVANTAGE. SADLY, YOU APPEAR UNWILLING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THAT DISADVANTAGE THEREFORE YOU GIVE THEM THE ADVANTAGE YOURSELF THROUGH YOUR LACK OF ACTION.
