No kidding
But he does have a point about that one particular play when Wallace got fouled out of the game. That was horrible. However, if you look back it's not like Gasol didn't get hammered by Garnett/Davis/Wallace time after time with basically no call. Kobe was also pulled down to the ground earlier (I think it was by Pierce but I can't recall) with not whistle. Bad and good calls tend to even out.
The great thing about this series is that it started in Game #1 and ended in Game #7 with another confrontation between Pierce and Artest. Wouldn't it be great if these two threw down next year against each other. Bring back Laimbeer and Barkley while we're at it!

If the refs weren't getting paid off, the Raptors would've made the playoffs and swept the other team in each round. =D
You truly are not part of reality. The Raptors were not that good with or without Bosh was injured and out for the season/playoffs. And they would have played the Cavs in the first round. The Cavs beat a Bulls team that was better than the Raptors.
Here's a little something for you. There are no Game 7 highlights on youtube. Within minutes all of the other games had highlights. Here we are almost 48 hours later and there are no Game 7 highlights. Undoubtedly the league preemptively enforced 'copyright infringements claims.' Yet you can see the trophy presentation, Laker highlights only (controversial plays and/or replays excluded). You can see Ron Artest make a fool of himself in his press conference. But you can not watch the highlights of the bad calls and missed calls. The NBA only wants the homers and bandwagoners to be drunk on bliss.
Even if you are a Lakers fan you should be offended by that. But most of you care about a number more than fairness. 16 championships for the Lakers. 5 for Bryant right? You don't have to care about whether its on the level as long as it's accomplished. It's that idiot mentality that has you mobbing your own town after a victory.

If it really were about the money, then why wouldn't they fix the games so that either Cleavland (with Lebron, obviously) or New York (biggest market in the U.S.) get to the finals?
Please, discontinue spewing your bulls***, Incandenza is becoming fat from the wonderful taste of it and I'm worried about his health.

You really think its not about the money? Because if it is not then there are some serious irregularities that serve no purpose. Irregularities like waiting to announce refs until game day. And of course the league wanted LBJ vs Kobe. But the league does not always get what they want. They influence to a significant point. The Celtics still almost overcame the worst officiated series in league history but the league got what they wanted this time.
As for NY, well the Knicks suck and if you were a real fan you would not even ask that question.

LAKERS WIN, AND VIPERLORD IS SUBJECT TO HAVING TO COME UP WITH EXCUSES OF WHY THE CELTICS BLEW THE LEAD! HE EVEN HAS TO RESORT TO QUOTING HIS OWN POSTS! PRICELESS!

rockfist wrote:I would predict the Lakers. For these reasons:
1) Kobe is the best most inspired player in the game now.
2) Gasol is playing better than he was two years ago.
3) The Celtic stars are all getting older.
4) The Lakers have home court.
5) Rondo's back will probably hurt worse in the next few days than it did during the Celtics' last game.
6) Paul Pierce needs to shave.
Rondo's back is the key to the whole series IMO. If he can play inspired ball and isn't hurt badly the Celtics have a good chance. If he isn't 100% I say Lakers in five or six, if he plays well it goes seven.
rockfist WINS!

You're a troll. I could care less about your antics. Now go away and let the grown-ups talk.
Bitchin' about bad calls, or injuries, or anything else is just bad sportsmanship.
The C's blew it.
I really don't care too much about the Celtics... but I did want to maintain the legacy, and leave CB with a tarnished rep... but that isn't how it played out.

Sounds like it's time to call the Whaaaaaambulance. Good thing the Bruins beat the Flyers after taking that 3-0 series lead, the Patriots had that 19-0 season, and the Red Sox beat the Angels in last year's ALDS... oh wait, none of those things happened. Maybe the proverbial chickens are coming home to roost after boston had an almost insane run of good fortune after the last decade.
Unfortunately, though, I've had to stop drinking your sweet sweet tears of despair, since I'm afraid that I'll contract whatever damaged your brain so.

Woah woah woah woah woah
1. There is NO reason to bring the SAUX into this.
2. The Patriots' failed perfect season was a few years ago.
3. Other than the Lakers, when was the last time an L.A. team won a championship? (MLS doesn't count)

So, you mean other than the most successful pro sports franchise of the last 25 years, when was the last time an LA team won the title? How about 2007, when the Ducks won the Stanley Cup? And before you say "the Ducks aren't an LA team!", ask yourself, exactly what city do the Patriots play in? Oh, a suburb of Boston? Hmmmm, I'm pretty confident that Anaheim is a suburb of LA.
Hell, our pro football team won a couple of titles this decade.

And are we going to pick and choose years to go back when talking about the most successful franchises? They're not even the most successful franchise in their sport overall, while the Yankees and Canadians destroy them in overall championships.
