Agreed. There must be a significant segment of their audience that appreciates 'zaniness' and 'charisma.' But I still wonder if overall it brings the show the biggest possible pay day. But maximizing viewership is not the only factor in producing a show despite how people love to talk about that element.

He had to talk over some disrespectful hosts. They invited him on a show and then were not willing to listen to his view on a show called 'The View.' Furthermore they are very content to label him. Just look at the website: http://theview.abc.go.com/. Currently he is labeled as a 'conservative host.' He is not a conservative host and he has stated that numerous times. I guarantee they aren't labeling Anderson Cooper or George Stepanopolis as 'liberal hosts' when they are interviewed.
