for me the panel has no positive function, it fucked the game/design especially in mobile, with this at least same parts of it will have functional purposes... later we can suggest more to make the panel functional addon.Dukasaur wrote:It's been suggested before, but nothing wrong with suggesting it again. Good idea...
Would be a plus for sure....I'm for itch0rn wrote:Bump, good suggestion. Would be very useful and helpful.

I wouldn't know the logistics of it, doesn't seem like it would be too hard but I really don't know how it is put together under the hood. Not the end of the world if it's too hard, but if it can be done relatively painlessly, this would be a pretty good upgrade. There are times, especially in large games that a lot of the board can adjust just by your first turn.I'm pretty sure this is similar / the same to something Foxglove proposed that was deemed technically improbable / difficult to accomplish

I wasn't able to find anywhere in that thread where they claimed it couldn't be done. Just that in BOB it's complicated because you can't access individual game data without having the games open. That particular stumbling block wouldn't exist if coded into the site.viewtopic.php?f=4&t=192998&hilit=Foxglove
I've found "impossible" is a label developers like to tag on to something when they're not in the mood to exert themselves. Where there's a will, there's a way.IcePack wrote:I'm pretty sure this is similar / the same to something Foxglove proposed that was deemed technically improbable / difficult to accomplish
Yeah, I don't care about BOB. I was talking about Panels.ch0rn wrote:It may very well be Impossible for the BOB addon to do it. But that doesn't mean it can't be done as a server side addition.

But I didn't say impossible, I said technically improbable or difficult.Dukasaur wrote:I've found "impossible" is a label developers like to tag on to something when they're not in the mood to exert themselves.
