Let's try to put some facts into this discussion:
First, about the ICE Officer hit by the vehicle driven by Renee Good?
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent who fatally shot Renee Good last week in Minneapolis, Jonathan Ross, suffered internal bleeding to the torso following the incident, according to two U.S. officials briefed on his medical condition.
So much for Mayor Frey (Frey calls 'bullshit') being an expert on medical matters. He is almost as bad as pack rat when it comes to medical evaluations. WORTHLESS.
On the attack by the illegal immigrant who attacked the ICE Agents with a Shovel:
A shooting occurred Wednesday night in north Minneapolis after U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers were attacked by men with shovels during an arrest operation amid Operation Metro Surge, three U.S. officials told CBS News.
One of the men, a Venezuelan migrant, was shot in the leg but is expected to be OK, two of the officials told CBS News.
(...)
Frey also took to social media late Wednesday night, saying, "America, this is not the path we can be on. I have seen conduct from ICE that is intolerable. And for anyone taking the bait tonight, stop. It is not helpful. We cannot respond to Donald Trump's chaos with our own chaos." (...)
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche released a statement Wednesday night accusing Gov. Tim Walz and Frey of stoking violence.
"Minnesota insurrection is a direct result of a FAILED governor and a TERRIBLE mayor encouraging violence against law enforcement. It's disgusting," Blanche said. "Walz and Frey — I'm focused on stopping YOU from your terrorism by whatever means necessary. This is not a threat. It's a promise."

On Friday night, a protest outside a Minneapolis hotel that attracted about 1,000 people turned violent as demonstrators threw ice, snow and rocks at officers, Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara said Saturday. One officer suffered minor injuries after being struck with a piece of ice, O'Hara said. Twenty-nine people were cited and released, he said.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey stressed that while most protests have been peaceful, those who cause damage to property or put others in danger will be arrested. He faulted "agitators that are trying to rile up large crowds."
mostly peaceful? where and when did we hear this BEFORE? Before the RIOTS that destroyed many business, many black owned?
and Frey? he is trying to avoid violence is NOT inciting violence, RIGHT? What was his initial reaction and comments after Renee Good was killed? ONLY an obscenity-laced reaction where he attacks ICE and Federal Law Enforcement. Good work, Frey. You are such a great leader, right? THAT is a BIG NO.
Is FREY referring to his allegation of "Bullshit..!" when he first reponded to claims that the ICE agent was HIT and INJURED as the vehicle Renee Good was driving HIT the ICE Officer? Who is promping and encouraging VIOLENCE and DISRESPECTFUL for ICE and Federal Law Enforcement? Could it be the Mayor of Minneapolis Frey? IS THAT even remotely possible?

anyway, back to actual news
"Trump sent thousands of armed federal officers into our state, and it took just one day for them to kill someone," Walz posted on social media. "Now he wants nothing more than to see chaos distract from that horrific action. Don't give him what he wants."
And how many investigation did Gov. Walz launch against Somalis FRAUDSTERS in his state? in four years? NONE? I heard one report that a Somali under investigation was given $200,000 to bribe an investigator, but kept $80,000 and only used $120,000 for the bribe. Graft and corruption is so endemic to this culture, right?
and
Protests held in the neighborhood have been largely peaceful, in contrast to the violence that hit Minneapolis in the aftermath of the killing of George Floyd in 2020. Near the airport, some confrontations erupted on Thursday and Friday between smaller groups of protesters and officers guarding the federal building used as a base for the Twin Cities crackdown.

back to the CBS source:
According to law enforcement officials briefed on the incident, the shooting occurred around 7 p.m. during a targeted ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) action near North Sixth Street and North 24th Avenue.
Officials say one man armed with a shovel — described as an "illegal alien" from Venezuela and the primary target of the operation — assaulted an ICE officer, striking the officer with the shovel and attempting to hit the agent's head. An ICE ERO agent then opened fire, striking the man in the leg.
After being shot, the man fled into a residence. Law enforcement officials say they later determined the house contained three additional targets. All four individuals barricaded themselves inside the home.
Due to the barricade situation, additional agents were called to the scene, officials said. Officers breached the house with the assistance of an ICE specialized tactical team. Officials believe all individuals inside the home were taken into custody.
Both the ICE officer who was struck and the man who was shot were transported to the hospital. The officer's condition and the nature of their injuries have yet to be confirmed.
Homeland Security officials said in a statement the Venezuelan national initially fled law enforcement in a vehicle but soon crashed into a parked car before fleeing on foot.
DHS issued a statement Wednesday evening saying the officer was assaulted by the man as he resisted arrest, and while they were on the ground struggling, "two subjects came out of a nearby apartment and also attacked the law enforcement officer with a snow shovel and broom handle."
What we need is more rational and actual discussion, and actual investigations, NOT violence and obscenities and IRRATIONAL emotional and negative responses by Liberal Democrats like Walz, Frey, MN Attorney General Ellison, and others in Minnesota.
I think Walz and Ellison are quietly GLOATING over the ICE actions in MN as this takes oxygen from the Fraud News by Somalis in their state. I addressed that issue in another thread here.
