re: inactives
Inactivity is not alignment indicative. It's a blind lynch. We learn nothing.
Depends on the outcome.
Anyone please define "soft-claiming"
Soft-claiming means hinting at your role without explicitly stating it.
When your soft claiming you’re trying to give enough information that town players can pick up on it and maybe trust you, but scum can’t be 100% sure what you are either.
It can also bait scum into mistakes / scum might react nervously to this (hinting at more info).

Im no doc but im second close to it. The dirty harry that keeps everybody safe at night except scum
Seems to me keeping everyone safe at night other than scum is 1. too powerful a power role, and 2. Not something a good cop could do without knowing who scum or bad cops are
Like, night investigate a person, night protect one person- these make sense. Night Good Dirty Harry? How/what? I'm trying and failing to fill in the blanks.
Yes that goes without saying : “Dirty Harry” doesn’t magically know who the criminals are.
Because: A) This would not be a mafia game if so and B) “A man’s got to know his limitations.” – Harry Callahan
But I get what you’re saying — just at this stage of the game, town really doesn’t need to stress too much about this. There’s plenty of time to recover later if you should feel so, maybe around D3 or so.
For now: let scum chew on this and wonder what a Dirty Harry on patrol can do to damage them. Scum already know who the other scum are.

Ok, fucked that up
"Seems to me..." onwards are my words not part of a quote
And I'm the dirty Harry was sonic not hjelp
If hold on to the narrative of Line of Duty it might be an undercover - walking down the streets during nights, doing som dirty jobs but secretly chosen one Townie to be safe ? That would be interesting, joining the night discussion Mafia and still saving one Townie - if so Townie aligned. then the PR isn't to strong but the thrill is that Mafia can't rely on each other ?

See, you have time to be helpful with this, but you have no time for the content that I'm writing.
The reply my - apparently waaaay too long post of 35 lines (which is somewhat hypocritical of super-spammer-Son!c) - post got was a "talk to the hand". Nothing I said was addressed. I can't believe no one else is seeing this.
I like Son!c's VERY biased description of soft-claiming.
Here's what the mafiawiki has to say about it: "A softclaim is a statement that hints at a player's own role without explicitly giving any information away. For instance, "I don't think you're going to eliminate me Today" suggests that the speaker is a power role who can roleclaim if needs be, and therefore dissuade their wagon.
Softclaiming is not a particularly liked practice, as it gives the scum information about who is worth killing at Night while depriving the Town of the aspects of the role that are interesting to them."
Ragdoll. Let's assume your town. And that is a very big IF.. even then there is by now too much sillyness from your side and beyond any belief i may add; let me explain:
If town: You'd accept that not everybody plays this game to "your super standards" and you'd still want to win this for town all together i'd say? Ofcourse you do IF town..Accepting "poor town play" by some as long town wins it in the end.. Hmmm?
But this game you don't seem to care at all about town, just self proclaimed care about "superior play" standards... and you even want to off a strong self claimed townie first before an "awol no show"? Everybody knows "no shows" are less of a threath to scum than "bad townies" but here we are.
Ive heard enough. Waited for scum play confirmation upon scum play confirmation and its confirmed
I'm not convinced no shows are better than bad townies. Give me helpfulness or get voted, ya know
I'm still unhappy with kingm and when he shows up I hope he says why he denied trying to get a vote started on riskmaster when he clearly did. Early and casually but it happened- that's for sure 1 Unhelpful Point
Ragian is the one who did the more serious incorrect framing of sonic's initial soft claim being a call out- earning 1 Unhelpful Point. Sonic does seem to be getting more erratic- first it's I keep the townies safe then it's obvs i can't know which are townies. I get there's flavor text and trying to draw out info, but it's a lot from a lot of directions. Still here for the drama and want to vote neither as they butt heads.
Silent players also have been given 1 point in my tally of unhelpfulness

^^^agreement box, sonics response felt overly dismissive to me in a game of nitpicking and hair splitting
Yes, and you should've not soft-claimed. We've talked about this a MILLION times and you're still doing it despite it being poor town play.
You know this is my play because in your own words "We've talked about this a MILLION times and you're still doing it" but in this play you make a big deal out of it to frame me..
Is it because we have a lot of new players and you smell your chance?
It does not make any sense for a town Rag to do so because again, you know this is my play so why framing me as scum for it?
I missed a lot over the weekend, @Loose, can we get a vote count please?
I is too early to start pointing fingers at this time for me, but Sonic's sort of soft claim gives him a lot of leverage should anybody comes up with a similar role, therefore I would say it is a bit scummy to me, but not definite, knowing Sonic's play style.
I've been perusing that mafia wiki and plan to slow my roll posting-wise. Fine line between "elimbaiting" and muddying up the waters and y'all have more experience.
Godspeed, detectives!
I'll still be following because I have hell of free time
