Is this still around?

I had to take a break from the site for a while, but I remember I had something installed that told me who owned what territory, divided by bonuses and color coded.

For example it would say:
NA: Anchorage (in grey), Mexico City (in orange), blah blah blah (in whatever color) etc. It was very ...

Re: Wonderland

Eh... yes/no. The chess part is Wonderland book 2, but the squares were each their own different place, like hills and desert except wonderland style.

But 2 chess CC games may be a bit much unless you could figure out a way to make them different, gameplay-wise.

So I guess the first book map/theme ...

Re: Wonderland

Lewis never drew a map, so it would be an interpretation, or a theme, either one.

In the second book, Wonderland is a chess board of mirrors, with the pieces in certain spots, and the squares having different landscapes. Kind of like: http://www.purplepawn.com/2008/07/02/ That could be done as well ...

Wonderland

I saw that someone had mentioned this once before, back in 2006, but no one took it up.
Would anyone be interested in making an Alice in Wonderland, or even just a Wonderland map? Wonderland has so many interesting colorful places in it, with so many characters, it would be an exciting map.

The ...

Re: Help me find good movies to watch

Some of these have been said before, but I'll emphasize them.

Oceans 11 (and 12 and 13, though the original is always better)
V for Vendetta
Forest Gump
Armageddon
Master and Commander
O Brother Where Art Thou
Across the Universe (yes it's kind of a musical... but it's good)

Probably my favorite ...

Re: 2012 is the end of time

They said it was the end of an era. The beginning of a new one.

So pretty much, whatever happens (Presidential election, or really, whatever) someone will say "Oh, ______ has never happened before, and the Mayans predicted a new beginning, they were right!"

Whether that was what they were actually ...

Account sitter, 3 games, 1 week.

So I need an account sitter, I'll be in Montana for a week, starting tomorrow. Unfortunately, I didn't know this until today, so I'm kind of caught off guard.
Two of the games are finishing up, on is in the middle-ish. Shouldn't be too much trouble since they're all doubles games and my ...

Re: 2 questions

I would take the very same gun, shove it up there perps ass and shoot them. I wouldn't kill them, I'd make them suffer. If they shot and killed them, well then I would unload the rest of their clip in their head.

And for 2. I would take a keg of beer and shove it down their throat, then hit them ...

Re: 2 questions

Because the first one, they meant to kill someone. Maybe not your loved one, but someone.

The second one was an accident.

At least, that's what the law sees.
Even if both killed someone.

I don't know...
They do have a commercial now about every 5 songs, which I don't blame them for because the site can't be cheap to run, and I can't say I want to pay to listen to something similar to a radio station.

Pandora

Most people have probably heard of Pandora by now. If not, it's where you put in a song or artist, and it spits out other music you'll like.

Pandora also has a "Why was this song selected" button. Sometimes it gives amusing reasons.
Today I've gotten a few.

"We’re playing this track because it ...

I had something slightly embarrassing removed when I was younger. The older I got, the more I tried to convince myself it was just a birthmark, but it wasn't.... so I got it removed.

Looking for a regular doubles mate

So, I'm looking for someone that is willing to play doubles games with me on a fairly regular basis. I enjoy playing doubles, and I find that playing with the same person is a great help. As my last partner is no longer playing, I am in search of a new one.

Obviously rank isn't too terribly ...

Sorry to so blatantly differ with you, but the idea in American business is that if you fail, you fail. Only 7% of the banking corporations were at risk. The better thing to have done would have been to let those banks suffer for their criminal activity, not push the cost of it onto the American ...
